Rugby League Samoa Fan Day Coming to Logan

Rugby League Samoa is proud to announce an exciting community event set to take place in the City of Logan on Tuesday, 21 October.

The Rugby League Samoa Fan Day will bring together thousands of fans for a full day celebrating Samoan culture, community and rugby league.

Held at the Kingston Butter Factory in Logan, the event aims to build excitement ahead of the Pacific Championship clash against Tonga, and showcase the talent and pride of both the Fetu and Toa Samoa squads. With a large crowd expected, the day will be a celebration of everything that makes Samoan and Pasifika culture so unique and powerful.

The Fan Day will feature live performances, cultural entertainment, traditional food vendors, and appearances from some of Samoa’s top rugby league stars.

“This Fan Day is more than an event – it’s a celebration of who we are,” said Rugby League Samoa General Manager Hanan Laban.

“It’s about uniting families, showcasing talent, and igniting pride across our communities during the Pacific Championships.”

“The most common language other than English spoken in the homes of Logan is Samoan, so it just makes sense for the Samoan men’s and women’s rugby league teams to be welcomed by our city,” said Logan Mayor Jon Raven.

“We love rugby league in Logan and our community will be eager to fire up their heroes before the teams play in Brisbane on October 26.

“This follows the passion we saw from the 5,000 One New Zealand Warriors supporters at their fan day in Logan a couple of months ago.

“These teams will be playing with heart and soul.

“Logan is one of the most diverse cities in the world.

“No matter where you’re from you’re welcome in Logan.”
